Maintenance Management Software

Maintenance Management Software
Until I left Nestle U.S.A. in 2002, I was their foremost Maximo expert. Our small team installed the program at 33 facilities in 3 years, and integrated it with e-commerce and accounting systems. (If you want a reference, ask any of your current Nestle contacts what they remember about the "MaximoGuy").

I emphasize change management, because that is really what Maximo installations are all about - changing the way an organization conducts maintenance in order to achieve the gains they were often promised.

I was intimately familiar with every version of Maximo from DOS version 2.6 through Version 5.0. This was both broad and deep knowledge. I was familiar with nearly every end-user function, and I was also able to write scripts to alter the database directly (very handy when setting up and maintaining security for a thousand persons at dozens of locations across separate schemas).
Unlike many of the software and consulting experts, I have my roots in maintenance and engineering management. So I have a passion for PM performed right, and can readily explain the impact on a shop floor mechanic when the inventory counts are wrong (and how they can make sure they are right).
