Computer/Technology Summary

Computer/Technology Summary
From learning “BASIC” on a mainframe in college…
…to writing “sprite-based” programs for my daughter on my first Commodore 64
…to writing a database to track work items
…to implementing Maintenance Management Software packages
…to managing a small Novell Network, I guess I have always had a love affair with computers.
I became expert in Microsoft Office programs, took MCSE courses, and was certified as an Adjunct Instructor to teach Networking Essentials at our community college.  I also taught Microsoft office products to new users in an adult education program.
I learned SQL to support the large, client-server maintenance software packages.  With database administrator privileges, I wrote my own scripts and reports, including automatic updates and multi-schema queries.  In one such environment, I provided the first line technical support for 1200 users in 33 facilities, with the ability to shadow their work using Citrix clients and Microsoft Terminal Services.
My hobbies include owning and operating a small website building and hosting business.  I cater to churches, ministries and artists (www.VeroNed.com).  And, of course, I built this resume website.
