Database Publishing

Database Publishing is the art of merging Desktop Publishing with a Customer Database. An example everyone is familiar with is junk mail, but consider the following examples:

Business Cards

Make them different for each customer. Emphasize different aspects of your business with a different tagline on every card. Give a client interested in the internet a card that says "Web Site Design" while a client wanting training gets one that says "Training in your home or office."

Give all your employees a business a card, even if they only use a few per month. Print as few as 10 at a time, with as few as one per person.

Vacation Bible School

Print registration, nametags and class rosters from a single database entry. Print certificates at completion. Send follow-up letters after the event. Personalize thank-you notes to each volunteer.
